Plug in your Class 3 DSC token (ePass, ProxKey, mToken and other tokens whose driver puts the certificate in Windows), tick "Also sign with my DSC", choose the certificate and enter the token PIN.
A PAdES digital signature (SHA-256) with your certificate chain and an optional trusted timestamp. Adobe Acrobat lists it in the Signatures panel and warns if anyone edits the file afterwards.

Yes. Prygenix PDF Studio (formerly Prygenix Sign) adds text and images, white-out, shapes, highlights and comments, reorders, rotates, merges, extracts and splits pages, and fills in PDF forms. During the free trial every tool works; PDFs saved with edits carry a small "Edited with Prygenix PDF Studio (free trial)" line at the bottom of each page, which a licence removes. Signing alone never adds it.
Only the name and the address: sign.prygenix.com now opens pdf.prygenix.com, links in e-mails you already sent keep working, and your licence stays valid. The first time you open the web app at the new address, your seal, signatures and register move over automatically. The Windows app updates in place.
No. In the Windows app and in the web app alike, PDFs are opened, signed and saved on your computer; the web app runs the signing inside your browser. The app only goes online to activate and check your licence, and, if you tick "Trusted timestamp", to send a fingerprint of the signature (not the document) to DigiCert's timestamp service.
Electronic records and signatures are recognised under India's Information Technology Act, 2000, and a signed PDF with your seal is widely used for quotations, purchase orders, NDAs and service agreements. Where a certified signature is required (for example many tenders and government filings), add your Class 3 DSC. Some documents, such as wills, powers of attorney and property transfers, cannot be signed electronically. When in doubt, ask your legal adviser.
Any signing certificate that appears in Windows (certmgr.msc → Personal → Certificates) once the token's driver is installed, for example ePass2003, ProxKey, mToken and Watchdata tokens from the licensed certifying authorities.
You can still open the app, view your register and verify documents. Saving new signed documents needs a renewed licence; your seal, signatures and register are kept.
Yes. Click Licence → Deactivate on the old computer (or uninstall it), then activate the same key on the new one. Use Seal & signatures → Export backup to take your seal and register along.
Yes, with the web app: it runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, Mac and Linux. It works on tablets and phones too, though a computer is easier for placing stamps. DSC token signing needs Windows (the Windows app, or the web app with Prygenix PDF Studio Helper).
Yes, in the web app: open the PDF, click Send to others to sign, add the signers and place their fields. They sign in their browser without an account or licence, after confirming a code sent to their e-mail. The document is stored encrypted on our server only until the date you choose. Fair use: 25 documents a month per licence, 5 during the trial. How it works.
Yes, with a company plan. You get a number of seats and become the company admin: in My account you give a seat to a colleague by entering their e-mail address, and take it back when they leave. Share the company seal once from the web app and everyone gets it. The admin sees every document the company sent for signing. Ask us for a quote.
For the web app, yes: you start the free trial with your e-mail address (we send a 6-digit code to confirm it, no password and no card), and after you buy you sign in with the same address. My account shows your licences, their expiry and the device each is active on. The Windows app's trial starts without an account.
Both. The same key works in either, on one device at a time. To switch, click Licence → Deactivate where it is active now, then activate the key on the other.
Yes. Windows shows this for new downloads it hasn't seen often. Click More info, check the app name is Prygenix PDF Studio Setup, then click Run anyway.
